The Santa Bus service is completely free and according to Nava, represents an average monthly savings of 1,600 pesos per student by offering free transportation. Furthermore, the intramunicipal units will benefit workers and heads of families, generating savings of up to 400 pesos per week per person.
"We grow, the Santa Bus grows," said Nava, highlighting that there are already 54 units in service and that 14 more will be added throughout this year. The mayor emphasized that the service is adapting to students' schedules to provide efficient access to transportation throughout the day. Additionally, he stressed that the means of transport is free from harassment, which represents an invaluable value for parents.
In summary, the Santa Bus of Santa Catarina continues to expand its coverage and improve its services, with the incorporation of new units aimed at facilitating the mobility of the student and working community of the region.
